I can't reinstall RAD Studio 2007 because when I try to enter the serial number to the registration on-line form, I allways receive a message saying that I have reached the maximum number of reinstallations. Can not install RAD studio 2010 after having RAD studio 2009
I had RAD Studio 2009 installed and unsuccesfully uninstalled it with an error message 2343. I then removed it with Windows cleanup tool and removed all references in registry as well as all files on hard disk including the once in SysWOW64. When trying to install Rad Studio 2010 I still get the message 'For RAD Studio 2010 to co-exist with the version you are trying to install ......:'. Rad Studio 2007 Help fails to install
I have recently built a new PC running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have spent much of the day installing several versions of Delphi on the new PC. I installed the Delphi versions from the oldest to the newest: Delphi 6, Delphi 7, Delphi 2005, Delphi 2007. Problem installing RAD Delphi 2007 Enterprise [Edit]
I have problems with installing Delphi 2007 Enterprise. I get the following error: *Downloading of installation data from the web has failed.* *Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.* I have internet access and it is working with no problems. The installation worked without any problems the fist time. Does anyone have any ideas about this problem. Delphi 2007 and RAD Studio 2009 Enterprise on the same PC.
I bought Rad Sutudio Enterprise 2009 and run the installation on a PC that already has Delphi 2007 installed. After the installation finished and reboot the PC, when I opened Rad Studio or Delphi 2009 I received errors that the environment can not load the Dbexpress.bpl and other .bpl files. It suggested to reinstall. I tried to repair the installation with no success. Is there a coexistance issue between Delphi 2007 and Rad Studio? I am using Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. Hi all, I install CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 (Delphi for Win32) on Vista Home Basic *as an Administrator*. After I installed pre-requirements (.NET framework 2.0, .NET framework SDK 2.0, JSharp), I got a screen of License Agreement, I ticked the check box +I accept the license agreement+. Installing RAD Studio 2007 gets MS Installer error
I am moving to a new Vista 64 system so I am re-installing all of my versions of Delphi and BCB. All have installed successfully except BCB 2007. I can install my original Delphi 2007 DVD but if I try to install any updates or from my BCB 2007 DVD which includes updates 1 through 3, the install fails as soon as it gets to the point where the MS Installer is called, after which both Delphi and BCB 2007 are gone. DLLs in RAD Studio XE vs RAD Studio 2007
We have a simple non-VCL DLL that we have used for a long time in RAD Studio 2007 projects. We have recreated it (from scratch) as an XE DLL project. Compiles just fine, creates the DLL and lib as before, but won't link to our XE app. The only difference between the two is that the 2007 function take a char* arg, and the XE function takes a wchar_t*. XE gives us an 'unresolved external' when trying to link that function. The DLL lib is clearly in the path. We are wondering if XE has changed the DLL process since 2007 ?
