Hi there. recently i was installing google chrome from AUR. i see that it downloads .deb file from source and installs it on my system. i amazed so i went to aur site and saw the PKGBUILD of google chrome. but i didn't found any command related to conversion of .deb file. can anybody tell me what happens behind the scenes. i want to convert a .deb file manually for learning purpose. i know there's a package called debtap in AUR but it just converts file into tar file and i didn't learn what happened to .deb file. please help me.
